Know Before You Go

PTE is pleased to host Dry Cold’s production of Dogfight: The Musical. Please take a moment to read this information before your performance.

Curtain Time

All evening performances begin at 7:30pm. The matinee on Sunday, May 4 begins at 2 pm. If you’re atteding when there’s an event at Canada Life Centre (eg: Jets game), please take that into consideration when planning when to arrive. It’s a good idea to arrive a bit early for the performance, especially if you’re picking your tickets up at the Box Office. It also gives you time to find parking. Aim for 20-30 minutes before the show starts – you’ll find the Lounge and the Café open for beverages at 6:30 pm.

Check the Canada Life Event Calendar Here

Because we’ve entered the NHL Playoffs, there will be street closures for the White Out Parties. Donald Street will be closed for several hours prior to and following each Street Party with street and sidewalk closures, as well as Transit reroutes around Canada Life Centre. Times will vary based on game start time. It's a good idea to allow extra time to get around downtown. Visit the City of Winnipeg for more information about street and sidewalk closures, as well as transit reroutes.

Getting into PTE - Driving or Cycling

Parking in the Portage Place parkade offers the most convenience. Take Elevator 6 (near the Carlton Street parkade entrance) up to the 3rd floor (it’s the only elevator that comes all the way up). You’ll need to pay for parking before coming upstairs using a terminal next to the elevator foyers, or download the ParkMobile app (you’ll find signs with QR codes on the doors to the elevator foyers.

Cycling: PTE has a permanent bike rack just inside the lobby doors, available for all performances. It’s advised that you bring a lock, but once the show has started, the lobby doors are locked for security. Note: Elevator 7 (on the other side of the clock tower from the usual elevator) has the most room for a bike to be transported.

Getting into PTE – Walking, Bussing or Dropoff

You will need to enter the mall using the Edmonton Street front doors at Portage Avenue, where the clock tower is. All other mall doors, including Edmonton back doors at The Promenade behind the mall are locked at 6 pm. You will be able to use either the escalators or the elevator to reach the 3rd floor. A sign in the mall doorway will identify the proper door to enter.

TRANSIT PLUS users - be sure to tell the driver that you’re going to PTE so that they drop you at the front doors.

Note: there are two sets of doors to enter the mall from Portage Avenue at Edmonton – only one set will be unlocked. If you have trouble getting in, call 204-942-5483. A sign in the mall doorway will identify the proper door to enter.

The mall closes at 6 pm. The food court closes at 5:30 pm.

The Dogfight program is digital!

You’ll find QR codes in the lobby to access the program on your device.
